The Medina County Juvenile Detention Center is a 30-bed, maximum security facility providing a safe and secure environment for juvenile law offenders. The young people here may have committed violent offenses and have likely suffered a traumatized past.
Still, they deserve a second chance, and we're here to put them on the right track.
Make no mistake: This job is not Social Work. You will come be in contact with young people capable of violence.
But…You don’t have to be a bruiser. You don’t have to be young. You don’t have to live in Medina.

The young people you’ll work with are here on average up to 21 days. That's enough time for you to be a role model who can impact a lifetime.
